President Museveni passes out Police Special Field Force Brigade

President Yoweri Museveni has today afternoon passed out Police Special Field Force Brigade at Masindi Police training School.

The new riot police, part of the first regiment of the Special Brigade Force passed out was trained in public order management, foot and motorised operations, counter-terrorism and Martial Arts.

The new riot police, part of the first regiment passed out has been exposed to ideological development, human rights and new laws.

The 692 officer strong, including 51 women, will with such exposure engage more professionally with public disorder.

Masindi police training school Commandant, ACP Moses Kafeero, urged the newly passed out officers to work hard and live to their expectations.

“I am sure you (field force unit) will perform your duties with discipline and integrity,” ACP Kafeero noted.
