President Museveni attends student pilots’ wedding

President Yoweri Museveni has commended two of the Soroti Flying School students for wedding.

The President was moments ago attending Lt. Nathan Abaho and Nuwe Phionah's wedding ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe.

“I am pleased that Nuwe is married and I'm confident that her marriage will be successful,” President said.

He said that he supported Nuwe during her course as a Pilot at the Soroti Flying School and that the courage which led her to become a pilot indicates that she would succeed in all life spheres adding, that he welcomes the couple for parental guidance.

The President said that he rehabilitated the school and made arrangements to improve the remunerations and general infrastructure with the aim of ensuring better service delivery.

The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Canon Aaron Mwesigye who rebuked rampant separation and divorce.

The Reverend called on married couples to respect each other. He said that they should live while respecting God.

He reminded them that men and women should work together as partners.
