President calls on the elite to use their knowledge for the good of society

President Yoweri Museveni has called on the elite youth to sensitize the public on issues affecting their life and share with them important information that can help wananchi solve challenges they face. “I would like to remind the educated youth that they should help the public to know what they don’t know because they are the ones who are informed. President visits TZ MONUSCO soldiers injured in DRC militants’ attack

President Yoweri Museveni has  visited 4 Tanzanian MONUSCO soldiers currently admitted in Nakasero Hospital in Kampala, who suffered injuries over 2 weeks ago in an attack by militants in neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 14 MONUSCO soldiers lost their lives and 50 were wounded in an attack that took place in the North Kivu Region of the DRC on the 8th December 2017.

Presidents Museveni, Uhuru discuss regional projects implementation, AMISOM

President Yoweri Museveni and his host President Uhuru Kenyatta have today held official discussions on a review of progress being made in the EAC Integration projects including the multi-billion dollar Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Project. Uganda and Kenya are committed to a seamless connectivity of the SGR which will cost Uganda US 12.8bn for the entire 1,724KM SGR network in Uganda from Malaba to Nimule, Vurra and Mpondwe.

President Museveni graces Secondary School Head Teachers’ Retreat

President Yoweri Museveni has assured head teachers that the salaries of science teachers are to be increased with immediate effect while the remunerations of head teachers and their deputies would be slightly higher than what science teachers will get. Block all causes of disability- Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni has called for blocking all the ways and causes of disability adding that the number of People With Disabilities (PWDs) should not grow beyond 4.4 million of the national population. “We need to block all the possibilities of disability to prevent more disabilities like we did to eradicate polio and measles.
