President returns from 5-day overseas visit

President Yoweri Museveni is back home from a five-day foreign visit to Eritrea where he paid a two-day State Visit and Turkey where he joined other world leaders for the 2nd International Conference on Somalia.

The conference that has been taking place in the Turkish City of Istanbul is a follow-up on the first one that took place in London in February this year.

The President, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Janet Museveni who is also Minister for Karamoja Affairs, was received on arrival at Entebbe International Airport this afternoon, by the Head of Public Service, Mr. John Mitala.

Others at the airport to receive him included the Commandant of the Air Force, Jimmy Owoyesigire, the Inspector General of Police, Kale Kayihura and the Commissioner General of Prisons, Johnson Byabashaija.
