President Yoweri Museveni will on Tuesday October 30, swear in the new ministers at State House in Entebbe. The President in August appointed new ministers and also filled up the vacant positions in his cabinet.
In a slight change, the President has replaced Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere who had initially been named Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Affairs with Hon John Nasasira. Prof. Kabyegyere is now Minister General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister while Nasasira now heads to the Ministry of Gender.
The new faces in cabinet who are due to be sworn in include Frank Tumwebaze, Minister in-Charge of the Presidency, Richard Todwong Minister without Portfolio in-charge of Political Mobilization, Nantaba Aidah Minister of State for Lands, and Kiiza Ernest, Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs, Najjemba Rosemary Minister of State for Urban Development, Kataike Sarah Ndoboli Minister of State for Health and Shem Bagaine Minister of State for East African Affairs.
